this should give you a bit more info about what network activity Spotify generates, it a hybrid peer-to-peer system so until you can get a bit more control over what it does and when I'd advise not...

its nowhere near the same audio quality though and Apple are fine with these kinda apps, they're not actually that bothered about losing track sales from the iTunes store as long as iPod and iPhone...

haha, oh yea.. for £2000 i got a S1000 and paid a simliar amount for my Korg T3... both of which I wqs very happy with for year.
