What is wrong with people? A dedicated hardware controller, unlocking all that functionality of Ableton to your fingertips for £379, and you're bitching! How much was the S1000 when it was released?

It's meant to be the all encompassing controller. Features cursor keys on the unit so you don't have to use the mouse. Sounds ok for playing your own material or a pre-programmed set.

Style over substance by looking at it, if you're going to have to couple it with the Zero SL MKII as the diagram suggests it'll be a pricey option.

Fuck I'm so jealous - I loved the T3 for some reason. I've now got very different opinion of Korg workstations, but the T3 blew me away when it came out.

Time for some old school rave shit. I fished out some classic Detroit sounds from an old Yamaha FB-01, worked up a nice groove on the Machinedrum and finally added a few effects in Ableton Live 8.

Thanks for the comments Suddi! I wanted to try and use only what comes with Ableton Live 8. So the bass you're talking about is probably the "Operator" instrument.

Yeah, it's a game not Ableton, however due to the nature of the music it feels like you are doing more to keep it going than just tapping on a fretboard.
