Biography:
1980: Older brother plays me music by a band called Kraftwerk.1983: Michael Jackson's Thriller comes out. So does Rock it by Herbie Hancock. I'm only a wee nipper but feel the urge to perm my hair in celebration of this weird shit.1984: My brother starts body popping. I love it.1985: I try to join in. Badly. Hear tracks like Wild Style and Planet Rock for the first time. I cant believe my ears. 1986: Stu Allens "Souled Out" on Piccadilly Radio helped me discover house music. 1987: Tapes of DMC mixes take over my life as house music starts to chart. I think Come To House By Mr. Lee & Pump Up The Volume are greatest things I've ever heard. 1988: Dabble with music industry for first time, helping Brian Dougans promote Humanoid had me hooked... 1989: Went to the Hacienda for first time. Home at last. Start writing music. Write to London Records with abysmal ideas & failed attempts to sign.1989: Met Jon in Blackburn and form Together. Write tracks, set up label. Start releasing tunes.1990: Sign to London. 1991: Release "House Sound Of Together" parts 1+2... Yet to do the third installment.1992: Sign to Synthentique. Formed Ultimate Escape Project. Put out Dumm Dumm. 1993: Release "Shoom parts 1-5" - the plans not going well... money's drying up, cant pay bills etc... need a job.1994: Started audio for games at Creations (still doing it.) 2002: Creations go into liquidation Put on clubs nights. Set label up. 2003: Start sound design... start writing music again.
