I really reccommend getting over to Sancreed and (easier to find) Carn
Euny. Great views, great archaeology, and Sancreed has what is supposed
to be quite possibly the most delightful stone circle in Britain (and
almost certainly the most important one in Cornwall). I couldn't get
there cos of foot and mouth sadly. Sancreed is also a fab little village
with an excellent ancient churchyard.

The Lizard itself is less interesting though we had a nice enough time
staying there, it's just a bit of a drive to cool places. Great pubs
though and an amazing cliff-ridden coast line.

'course, in the thirties it had stone rows to rival Britanny, but
they're all gone now, sacrificed to the war effort... ggrrrrrrrr....

The Original Pasty Shop on Fargate in Sheffield. Best pasties I've ever eaten.
