Gary Johnston is an American actor, possibly the best actor in the
entire world. Definitely better than any of the FAGs. That's the Film
Actor's Guild, headed by Alec Baldwin and including such outspoken
anti-war actors as Tim Robbins, Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon. The FAGs
are pussies who believe that everything can be solved with peaceful
negotiation, but worse than that the worlds terrorists are assholes who
want nothing more than to shit on everything and everybody. That's where
Team America come in. Team America are dicks, and they like nothing
better than fucking. The pussies can't fuck the assholes, so only dicks
like Team America can fuck the asshole terrorists.
Johnston is hired by Team America for his acting skills, he infiltrates
the terrorist network but overkill by Team America puts them on the
worlds shit list. However the world didn't bargain on leader of North
Korea, Kim Jong Il, being an asshole terrorist. So Team America are
called in to fuck that asshole good and proper.
I'm a massive fan of Parker and Stone, so it won't come as much of a
surprise that I loved 'Team America'. Politically it's spot on, even if
some of the jokes are a little dated. There are some great visual gags
and film references to make up for this however. My particular favorite
being Kim Jong Il's "killer panthers" ... actually domestic pussy cats.
The Cairo inn also bears an uncanny resemblance to the Mos Eisley
cantina in Star Wars, complete with house band and cantina music.
Doing the film using Marionette puppets instead of animation is
brilliant, because puppets are naturally funny. They can't move properly
and their limbs flail naturally, which makes the puppet sex scene a
stroke of genius. Strangely enough it's this scene that the American
censors had the most trouble with. So Parker and Stone do it again. And
this time it also features the best song of all time... 'America, FUCK
YEAH!' Buy the soundtrack now, you will not be disappointed.
'Team America : World Police' is out on general release in the UK from
Friday 14th January 2005.
