Films I have seen lately...
Surving Christmas - Ben 'The Fleck' Affleck stars as an unlikable
advertising exec who you'd kill if you ever met him. He hires James
Gandolfini's family over christmas as he doesn't have one of his own.
Only made watchable by Gandolfini and The Fleck hurting himself a few times.
Churchill : The Hollwood Years - A decent premise. Churchill was
actually an actor called Ernie Bubbles, the real Churchill was an
american war hero who almost single-handedly saved us from the Nazis. Or
Nasees as Slater keeps saying. I laughed once during the film, for a
comedy that's bad I think. I was actually embarrased for Slater.
The Corporation - A Mooresque one-sided lefty rant of a documentary.
Both sides come out the other end as idiots. Enjoyable at bits, but for
the wrong reason - the narrators soft hushed american tone reminds me of
some sci-fi film advert "everything is fine, don't panic, everything is
under control, go back to work america". If you've ever done any light
reading on globalisation, corporations and/or capitalism most will be
old ground for you ... I'm no expert by any means, but about 80% of it I
knew already.

All are on general release now, erm... I think The Corp is limited
release actually.
