You are 'avin a laff mate, it's an awful film,as I have ranted before on
here. Visually appealing, and the soundtrack is good but everything else
sucks. Hey everyone, Japanese people are SHORT, isn't that funny! He has
to adjust the shower head, its a riot! They have bars where women dance
not wearing a lot, how bizarre! They eat strange food! The only bit of
respect for Japanese culture was when it showed 'old' Japan (the
Geishas, the Buddist temple), rather than the impertinent 'new' Tokyo.

Any film that expects you to invest in the pathos of a character who is
about 20, has just got her philosophy degree from Yale, has hooked up
with a rich-boy husband who plonks her down in 5 star hotels and can't -
snivel, snivel - work out "what to do with my life" should be held up
for some serious ridicule. And the Murray character's wife just doesn't
understand him, the poor love, so he just *has* to hang out with pretty
young girls to make himself feel better.

As for the performances, Bill Murray has once more dragged out that
character from a long time ago and Scarlet should stop pouting and learn
to act.
