Travel Speakers

They're not meant to be too bad but if she plans to use em while on the
move (planes trains etc) they might not your best bet cos they're about
10 inches tall and need a bit of space. dont know millions about that
one so someone might be able to offer a bit more that...

You do have a few other options...

the TDK travel CD wallet speakers. Basically a CD wallet with built in
speakers.. very good sound for the money, about 20 quid and very
practical while on the move!
Also theres the Si-5.. amazing sound but they're gonna cost more. about
40 quid i think these are. (not 100% about the price on them but thats
roughly what they cost) The great thing about these is the fact that
they can be powered by your USB port on your laptop so they might be
ideal for her. Look well funky too :)
and there is also the Creative Labs Travel Speaker, the company that
make soundcards. Absolutely blinding sound on these but it will cost
you... about 60 quid!
