This is the help section.
Every hour during the working day our robot scans a selection of sites for relevant news stories. When it finds a new story it will summarise it and add it to the news page.
The robot makes use of keyword searches to find relevant articles. Sometimes it may wrongly pick up stories that just happen to have the right combination of keywords somewhere in the page. We hope that this will be improved in the future.
The robot will attempt to find the main article in every page from which it can then extract a summary. However, many pages on the web are very badly designed and this can sometimes cause it to make mistakes and use the wrong part of the page for the summary or skip the first line.
The robot will normally only include a story once for each source that it finds. However, the same story may often be syndicated to several different sites or rewritten by different publishers. We hope to improve this later so a story will only be included once but with links to each source that covers it.
