This is the help section.
The knowledge store is a permanent place for the community's knowledge. It answers many of the frequently asked questions that people have and serves as the community's memory.
If you're reading a discussion message and think the information in it is worth preserving then click the Suggest button. You'll then be asked to enter a short message explaining your reason. Alternatively, if there's a subject you think should be included but isn't currently featuring in a discussion, then use the Suggest button on the main Knowledge page. If you do this and can provide the complete text for a new entry then it is extremely helpful.
The knowledge store is looked after by a group of editors. They will review any suggestions made and if they decide to include them will edit them into a suitable format before making them publicly available.
If you have some changes you think should be made to an existing entry or think some of the information is wrong then please add a comment to the entry by clicking the Comment button. If it is appropriate the editors will review it and make any changes needed. Note that comments are stored permanently and are separate from discussion messages.
Editors are chosen from experienced members of the community. If you would like to volunteer please contact admin@uk-dance.org.
