Surfacing for a shameless plug

I've also recently published a book on the history of London's pirates that traces their story from the hippie rock stations of the sixties through to the start of the nineties rave era. It attempts to explain why the UK ended up with the radio it did, both legal and illegal, and why some music genres prospered on the airwaves and others didn't.
