Some very sad news - uk-dance subscriber Nick Hardie passed away last night, after suffering from pneumonia since xmas. In his day, Nick was a thoughtful and stimulating contributor to ukd discussions, and he met lots of us at various ukd functions and the big chill. 

Nick's music tastes were broad and varied, but he was best known as a Chicago and Detroit techno fan through his night with others called T-Funktion, with Nick definitely having an impact in the development of relationships between certain American DJs and their audiences on this side of the Atlantic. Well done Nick - you put your heart and your soul into it, and you'll be missed by all who knew you. XXX
