hey good people.. i know a few on here "very nearly" came to the trip festival last year.. but .. for what ever reasons didnt make it .. so after a very successful weekend last year (and a bit of a financial knock) .. it's all systems go for 2011.

cant recommend the trip festival highly enough.. i can certainly see people like steve, bob and disco dave etc there.. maybe with their families .. having a great time. for those of you who are searching for a nice safe weekend event .. that's cheap.. with nice people ... and nice food ... family friendly.. on an amazing site.. with skilled and experienced bands and dj's... same old same old marketing line... but .. trust me ... this festival is really very cool imho and is certainly not in that stale boutique ghetto genre... it's an honest and enjoyable weekend.

wrt the trips usp (unique selling points) ... ? i would suggest things like - gorgeous location, quality of production, electisim and high quality music (live and dj)... also.. it has an interesting place in my heart as it is becoming a focus and almost bus persons holiday for some of the movers and shakers in the manchester and liverpool music and clubbing scenes... iow: fantastic for north west networkers.

additionally, if anyone knows of any dj's or live artists that might want to perform on this platform - please hola at me... as i have the ear of the event director ... who is a good friend and creative industries colleague. she is up for a risk and always looking for talent and exciting proposals.
