I wondered why that previous thread had been closed. Ummmm, I actually liked that mix and was even thinking maybe it was finally going to be time we had a favourite top 10 trance tracks!

Admittedly, this UK dance forum is not known for its love of Trance, or
"donk donk " music as my father calls it and unfortunately I have very
much noticed this since joining the original forum in 98 (for me the
year of trance and completely coincidentally the Mitsubishi!). Hence Ive
kept a low profile on here, but it seems a bit harsh to cancel a few
accounts because they thought the track was okay. Unless of course you
think they are spamming (1 comment does not make a spam) and I am infact
the only "real" person that actually thought it sounded okay :( In
which case I'll get back into box

Did you not see the sign over the door?: "No Dancing Dads!"

;-)

Though given the demographic of this group, perhaps this should be modified to "No Dancing Grandads!".

It is probably true to say that many of those dancing dads and grandads danced to trance (as then was) back in the day. Or worse. And liked it. And then began denialism, the black legends and historical revisionism. Perhaps a clue lies in the opening words of The Wombling Song...
