So, its finally happened. The ultimatum for my vinyl collection has finally come. In the not so distant future in place of my vinyl will be a cabinet for displaying crystal jugs and other sorts of dust gatherers. I guess it was inevitable really, and coincidentally nicely links in with hitting the big 4 oh. At least I have negotiated some sort of short term reprieve, we have agreed I can record and catalog before sending them away, I've found discogs is great for catalogs. Ive also discovered a local artist who takes vinyl and cover and creates an art piece for the wall, I may reserve 1 for such an honour where, despite protest its just to hard to say goodbye. :)
