It's weird how much much fiction makes it's way into articles about Manchester.. probably people (journalists) getting fragments of facts and stitching them, together to make a readable article. There were never all night raves at the Hacienda, (if anything they were in Blackburn) and the DJ's didnt play indie dance/pop they played mainly Black American dance music, New York and Chicago music... still, that was an interesting read!
