Top buzz all round - it was certainly the best Chill I've been to since my stag weekend ten years ago. It's so well organised these days! Not a hitch all weekend, great music, friendly folk, hardly any queues for anything, great (if pricey) food, plenty for the kids...yada yada. I think the scale of the event actually works in its favour - was worried it might be too big and impersonal but it's actually more varied and interesting than it ever was back in the day, even if it is a bit less cosy. I will most certainly be going back - next year if I can swing it.  Some pix here.

I totally agree Mart (lovely to meet you and family Thomas.).  I think I have been to about 10 now and this is the first one tht felt like a proper festival as opposed to a load of thirty somethings taking drugs in the country.

Highlights for me included Slam, Octave one and Hari and Dom on Friday night. Some absolute banging techno from Slam and then the Detroit variety from Octave one was just what was needed.

Spiritualized were sublime on Saturday night - though I am a fan boy:-) what the hell was that rubbish the Justin Robertson played for an hour afterwards? Justice stle electro bangers with trance like break downs

David Byrne was excellent as was his choreography.  Men dancing in tutu's is always a winner :-)

Friday afternon in the Rizla tent dancing in my wellies was great. shame it turned into a mud bath and dick heads started throwing mud and fighting etc.

Apart from that I just bumbled around the site cathcing bits and bobs. Half the time I didn't have a clue who was playing or DJing which is half the fun.

If there are any downsides I would say that the programming on the main stages during the day is pretty patchy - too much plinky plonk and guys with lap tops.  The beer was rubbish as well.  Frothy Amstel or bottles of cider that gave me heartburn.  But if that is all there is I can find to moan about it shows you how excellent the whole weekend was.

Cant wait for next year:-)
