Fat Freddy's Drop – Dr Boondigga and the Big BW
Nice mix of tracks with some showing a definite digital dub edge reminiscent of Basic Channel or R&S, other more trad dub tracks, featuring the awesome vocals of Joe Dukie.
Shades of Blue – Madlib remixes the Blue Note catalogue. Released in 2002 I fucking love this, not sure if there are many Jazz heads here, I can't get enough of the hip hop beats with some styling grooves. Madlib is a genius.
Also the Seth Troxler RA podcast for a few weeks back and some other bits and bobs like a Claro Intelecto live set which is 'kin ace.
Going out for a rave-up at the T-Bar tonight will be avin it to Dub's live set to celebrate kicking ass in my exams. 2 years down, 2 to go :-)
