The difference is, most people on here actually have lives beyond a computer/TV screen. I think what you've described sounds like incredibly childish school playground behaviour. UKD wouldn't exist if we talked to eachother like that. What is so wrong with treating people with a little respect - we're all here for the same reason aren't we?

I guess I've just got a thicker skin that most on here because I frequent gaming forums where I think most on here would die of fright if they hung out - you know how the right-wingers are in the minority here and get hounded? Well it's the complete opposite on every other forum I'm on - which IMO is far more accurate of british life than UKD.
UKD is very much a little hippy wooly bubble that I love, but is the exact opposite of every other place on the internet pretty much.
