I've recently talked in private to several past and present members of UK-Dance about the its future and a common theme has been Simon's unacceptable behaviour here. This is the most common reason cited by people for no longer taking part, although I'm not suggesting it's anything like the whole picture.
Having listened to those views I've decided that it would be in the best interests of the community as a whole if Simon took a holiday from contributing for six months. I've already informed him privately of this decision.
I wanted to be open about this decision and why it was taken. It is based purely on Simon's contributions here and given his involvement in UKD-linked events in the past and his offline friendship with people here it was not an easy one to take. However, I believe it is the best solution in the circumstances.
Stephen.
