Ok so I was doing something at work today, which made me think - what a load of complete tosh software is for doing music work. I mean, I know it works well sometimes, but really - does it have to be so involved and arcane?
So that got me to wondering, what do people use for DJing and (for those that produce their own tunes), for sequencing/production? Would the likes of Suddi, Dub, Iain, Parley, Ravi, anyone else, fancy participating in a rolling list just to see what comes out? For interest, I'm gonna stick in brackets afterwards the reasons why I use what I use.
DJing
Dave A - Vinyl via Technics only (physical interaction with medium)
Production
Dave A - Logic on PC (just what I'm used to)
If noone else can be arsed adding themselves into the list, then no probs, but it just occurred to me it might be interesting to see a snapshot of ukd music software preferences...
cheers,
dave
