First thing I notice is, it's wierd having the 'activity stream' top-right instead of new messages (which is bottom right now), as I'd always check whether I'd missed anything by looking at the message list, and different coloured links (visited links vs new links).

Oh and... the big blue Earlier/Later message buttons are great, but it would be fantastic to have those big buttons above the messages as well when you're flicking through individual messages. The benefit of the small buttons above is that they don't move – why not just duplicate the big earlier/later buttons up there as well?
