Re: Bit of a shame...

Yeah Mr. Stead. Must say, that came as a wee bit of a surprise when I saw him recently... small world.

Re: Big chill

So, assuming you went, how was Shambala? I loved it (again) for it's compact size, sense of fun, fancy dress and damn good music - particularly the dancehall, dub and roots in the Roots Yard tent.

Highlights this year - got a promotion (woo!) turned 40 (argh!) went to tresor (yay!)... and I met an old friend at the weekend who is also an ex-colleague of yours from Creations.

Re: Audio geek fest - monitors vs hi fi speakers

I've got a pair of the HS50Ms, which are the smaller versions, as the HS80Ms wouldn't fit on my desk! I'm very happy with the sound.

Re: Bit of a shame...

Arghh Adi, missed that!! Loving the track, commented so on your soundcloud page... possible to re-up? DJ

Btw, the two folk that recommended them to me were jobbing DJ's and apparently Phil Asher uses them too.

Re: Audio geek fest - monitors vs hi fi speakers

I bought a pair of these a month ago, from Sapphires on the Edgeware Road. Take along a few favourite CD's and hear them for yourself, they sound amazing.

I had little doubt that both Ben and Elly had a hand in the track selection, I was querying who mixed it. And we still don't know....
